Day 1 - Nata, Botswana
We cross into Botswana and camp on the edge of the Makgadikgadi Pans. (D)

Day 2 - Maun, Botswana
After an optional excursion into the Pans, we head to Maun where you can do a scenic game flight over the Delta. (B,D)
Stage highlights: Today we have our first glimpse of the Okavango Delta.

Day 3 and 4 - Okavango Delta
In the Delta we explore the waterways by mokoro (dug out canoe) and search for wildlife on game walks. We return to Maun on the last afternoon. (B,L,D)

Stage highlights: Exploring the channels in the delta by mokoro is a experience never to be forgotten.

Day 5 - Chobe National Park, Botswana
Leaving Maun we head north to Kasane and Chobe National Park, where you can do a cruise on the Chobe River. (B,D)
Stage highlights: The drive across Botswana, the Chobe River and National Park are todays experience.

Day 6, 7 and 8 - Livingstone, Zambia
After an early morning game drive in Chobe we head to Livingstone. Here we do a sunset cruise on the Zambezi from the Zambian side, followed by a free day to explore the town, visit the markets or do the many activities available. (B)
Stage highlights: You will enjoy the sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River and the time at own leisure.

Day 9 - Lusaka, Zambia
Crossing into Zambia we head northwards and camp near Lusaka, the capital. (B,L,D)
Stage highlights: Today we visit yet another country.

Day 10 - Chipata, Zambia
Today we drive through to the border where we camp in the small town of Chipata. (B,L,D)

Day 11, 12, 13 and 14 - Lake Malawi, Malawi
We journey through Lilongwe to our camp on the shores of Lake Malawi. We spend time relaxing on the shores of the lake, exploring the area, and shopping in the markets.There are many watersports available on Lake Malawi, as well as the opportunity to meet the locals and see their craftsmen, famous for their carved mahogany chairs and other artifacts. (B,D)
Stage highlights: Lake Malawi is a experience in itself.

Day 15 - Blantyre, Malawi
We head southwards to the town of Blantyre. (B,D)
Stage highlights: Visit to craft shops along the way.

Day 16 - Chimoio, Mocambique
Today we cross into Mozambique and camp at Chimoio. (B,L,D)

Day 17 - Vilanculos, Mocambique
We reach the coast and relax on the beach of this coastal town. (B,L,D)
Stage highlights: We have the first whiff of the Indian Ocean.

Day 18, 19 and 20 - Bazaruto, Mocambique
We spend these idyllic days on an arab dhow sailing around the Bazaruto Islands. We camp on the islands for 2 nights and return to Vilanculos on the last day. (B,L,D)

Day 21 and 22 - Inhambane / Tofo, Mocambique
Our beach days are not over yet, as we spend 2 nights camping at Tofo and explore the bustling trading town of Inhambane. (B,D)

Day 23 - Maputo, Mocambique
We continue onto the busy capital of Maputo where we spend the night. (B)

Day 24 - Johannesburg, Souh Africa
After a free morning in Maputo, we cross back into South Africa and continue on to Johannesburg. (B)
