The Zambezi Buzz

Day 1 - Nata, Botswana

Departing Gauteng we cross the border into Botswana. Our first night is spent in Nata, on the edge of the Makgadikgadi Pans. (D)

Today we have the opportunity to get to know each other.

Day 2 - Livingstone, Zambia

Today we drive through the Chobe District, where we will almost certainly see elephants on the road. We enter Zambia via a ferry trip across the Chobe River and reach the old colonial town of Livingstone. This afternoon we explore one of the Seven Wonders of the Natural World - Victoria Falls, on foot and from the mighty Zambezi on a sunset cruise (we may also see some wildlife such as hippo and buffalo). (B,L,D)

Day 3 - Livingstone, Zambia

Today you can brave the rapids of the Zambezi, on a white water rafting trip, or relax in a canoe and enjoy the scenery. There is also a game drive in the National Park, jet boating or gorge jumping! (All activities are optional). (B,D)

Come on, be a daredevil and partake in the adventure activities on offer. Adrenaline junkies will love it.

Day 4 - Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

This morning the very brave can do one of the highest bungy jumps in the world (optional), before crossing the river to Victoria Falls Town, Zimbabwe. You can also explore the Zimbabwe side of the Falls, and shop in the curio stalls. Tonight we enjoy the famous nightlife of this vibrant town. (B,D)

Time at leisure and a night on the town.

Day 5 - Kasane, Botswana

This morning you may do a micro light “Flight of the Angels” over Victoria Falls or some last minute shopping. In the afternoon we head back to Botswana and set up camp in Kasane, with a breathtaking view of the Chobe River. Relax and enjoy some great game viewing on a river cruise (optional). (B,D)

Day 6 - Francistown, Botswana

At sunrise we do an unforgettable 4x4 safari into the Chobe National Park, with the chance to see much wildlife including lions. After a late breakfast we head south to Francistown where we enjoy our final evening. (B,D)

4x4 safari for some unforgetable game viewing in the Chobe National Park.

Day 7 - Johannesburg, South Africa

We take a relaxed drive to Johannesburg arriving mid afternoon. (B)
