12 Day Explorer Safari

Day 1:- Maun

Safari guests are met at Maun Airport. The guide will take you into the town of Maun where you will be able to convert money into the local currency & buy drinks for your safari. We then proceed to Sitatunga Croc Farm, which is situated just outside of Maun, where we will spend the night in fixed tented accommodation.

Day 2 and 3:- Okavango

After an early breakfast we head for the Moremi Game Reserve. We lunch en-route & on arrival at our campsite we set camp before an afternoon game drive. After we return from our game drive, it is time to relax around the campfire with a drink while dinner is prepared. We also spend a day on a boat exploring this part of the Delta. We camp in exclusive wilderness area near Xaxanaka.

Our first game drive on this safari gives us a taste of things to come.

Day 4 and 5:- Moremi

We explore this beautiful game reserve extensively. This is an ideal opportunity to view & photograph the wealth of wildlife that resides in the North Eastern corner of the Delta. Long game drives in the mornings & afternoons with lazy midday siestas & wild African sunsets are the order of the day. Exclusive campsite in Khwai area

Day 6:- Savuti

After an early breakfast, we break camp & head for Savuti. We lunch en-route & on arrival set up camp before an afternoon game drive.

The drive from Moremi to Savuti takes us across rolling dunes with abundant animal life.

Day 7:- Savuti

Savuti offers exciting wildlife & some of the most diverse landscapes in the Country, reminiscent of the Serengeti Plains in Tanzania. This area is well known for its large elephant, lion & hyena population. We will take a morning & afternoon game drive & visit an example of Bushman paintings.

Abundant game and the diverse landscape are the order today.

Day 8:- Chobe

We leave early for the Chobe National Park. We will have a lunch stop on the way, which will also serve as a chance to stretch our legs on this long journey. On arrival at our exclusive campsite, we set camp & have a midday siesta. In the afternoon we will set out on an afternoon game drive exploring the Chobe National Park.

Exploring the Chobe National Park in the afternoon gives again ample opportunity to view and photograpg wildlife.

Stage duration:1 Day

Day 9:- Chobe

The morning game drive gives us the opportunity to view large breeding herds of elephant & large herds of buffalo for which the Chobe National Park is famous. The afternoon boatcruise on the Chobe River offers a new dimension to game viewing with excellent photographic opportunities. We may see elephant crossing the Chobe River from Botswana to Namibia.

The boat cruise on the Chobe River gives a different angle to game viewing.

Stage duration:1 Day

Day10:- Victoria Falls

After breakfast we head for the spectacular Victoria Falls. This great feature is only a short drive from the border of Botswana. On arrival, you will book into your accommodation, after which you are free to explore the Falls and their surroundings. Accommodation in Victoria Falls will be in a hotel on a B & B basis for two nights & is included in the cost of your safari.

After the short drive, you can spend the day at leisure.

Day 11 and 12:- Victoria Falls

Your guide will advise you on the various activities at the Falls, which you might like to undertake, such as White Water Rafting, Bungee Jumping, Golf & Flights over Victoria Falls. All activities are at your own expense, as is transfer to Victoria Falls Airport, which the hotel will organise for you.

These days you can spend to partake in the various optional activities on offer.
